What our clients say

I was thrilled to find Kikiriki chickens available locally! Freedom Farms maintains a diverse stock of exceptionally healthy, clean, and well-socialized birds. I deeply respect their purchase policies; it’s clear they prioritize animal welfare and the long-term health of their flock above all else. The team was incredibly approachable and helped me select seven beautiful Kikirikis and an adorable, sweet Silkie-mix. Even after bringing them home, post-purchase support has been fantastic—they always have great suggestions for any follow-up questions. The personalities of these birds are unmatched. My two roosters are "besties" who run across the yard for treats and pets, and my "Ricky-RicardRoo" would be content to be held all day! They do crow, but it’s a polite, "Hey! I'm a Rooster!" rather than the "my ears are bleeding" volume of a standard-sized rooster. Kikirikis are easily some of the best chickens I’ve ever owned, and I would have no problem getting a full Bachelor Flock of Roosters from Freedom Farms. A word of preparation- Kikiriki are from Puerto Rico. They can not handle wind or temperatures below 40F. We have a draft-free coop with radiant heaters (NOT heat lamps!) and a thermostat that cuts the heaters on when it gets less than 50F. The attached run is covered in thick, clear shower curtain plastic for our cooler/windy days in Southern Utah. We have a safe, well-sheltered/fenced backyard, so we let them free-range with our 20 standard chickens on good-weather days. They LOVE it! They integrated with the big girl flock exceptionally well. The Kikirikis are just phenomenal companions. I'm so grateful for these beautiful feathered friends and for Freedom Farms offering such high-quality birds!
